To be clear an appointment was made indicating this is the service needed and the dealer could not complete the work.  2) Additionally this vehicle suffers from a sudden loss of power on the highway. If vehicles are following too closely there could be a serious accident. The failure mode of this condition is triggered by high temperatures 105 to 107 F there is a persistent DTC code P0087000 which indicates inadequate fuel pressure and maybe caused by fuel pump, pressure regulator, or sensor. At least once, when the car cools off the main computer (referred to 'the head unit' by Genesis customer care) can be 'reset', and all DTCs are cleared and Check Engine Light is cleared.
