This is exactly what happened to my 2016 Cruze as we drove down the highway and warning lights and sounds started going off that required it to be put in the shop (Local Chevy Dealer) and have these parts replaced. If you read the safety recall for this issue on the Chevy Cruze and look at my receipt it is almost the same wording. However, the dealer told me that my Chevy Cruze was NOT covered by the recall.
