I have a new Lincoln Corsair, top trim, with Blue cruise self driving. I found I could set the cruise for a certain speed, say 48mph, and several min later the vehicle would suddenly accelerate, at times to 70 mph. No one a the dealership had a clue. The chief mechanic took it for a drive. He \" could not duplicate the problem\". My wife and I , on our own, solved this. One of the dozens of things in the vehicle set up process ( customizing) was to choose a speed above the speed limit ( 5  or 10 or 15 , etc). I assumed it would set off a sound to remind me to check my speed. NO. When the car on cruse control enters an area, pre-mapped for accept Blue cruise (Tesla like self drive), its cameras read the speed limit sign. If I set and was driving at 48 mph, passed a 55mph sign , the car surged to 70mph. It was scary. I have since lowered the setting to 5mph and all is well. I phoned Lincoln in Detroit, Very polite but would not connect me or take a meaningful message.
