I can turn the engine off but I can't remove the key because the ignition switch won't go all the way forward. The lights stay on and also the radio. I had to repeatedly start and stop the truck and move the gear shift selector to remove key. I had the same problem in February 2022. The dealer fixed it by replacing gear shift selector while under warranty. The problem was remedied. Said this was happening and there was a TSB about this problem. This problem was never consistent. Now in Aug. 2023 I am having the same problem. The truck is no longer under warranty and the dealer says that I must pay to have it diagnosed and fixed. Chevrolet is aware they have this problem with several different models and don't want to acknowledge it and take responsibility. There are several class action lawsuits filed about this. This is a safety issue because I just can't leave the truck with the key in the ignition. I looked online and have seen that Chevrolet has this problem with several models of different years. They should find a solution and have a recall to address this problem. The dealer also told me my truck was actually worth less if I were to trade it in because of this problem. Should have said something in 2019 as they knew about this problem since at least 2016. They fix the problem by replacing faulty parts with the same faulty parts.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2019","productMake":"CHEVROLET","productModel":"COLORADO","manufacturer":"General Motors, LLC"}]}]}
