Took the car to the dealer for service and  they replaced the air bag repair wiring harness from the ACSM (air bag control unit) control module to both knee air bags.  This did not fix the error, so they then replaced the air bag control unit.  Error message is now not present.  Dealer stated air bags would not deploy unless I had the repairs done, yet they stated that this safety issue was not covered by my warranty.
