I was near MM 104. It was approximately 8:13PM and the road conditions were clear. No other vehicles were in front of or behind me. I heard a screech, the wheel jerked out of my hand to the left, and the wipers came on. I tried to regain control and keep the vehicle on the road. The wheel kept tugging to the left and I was fighting to pull it right. At the same time, I was also pressing on the brake, but it went straight to the floor. I kept pumping on the breaks because I didn\u2019t know if the ABS was working. Then I hit the guard rail on the right side of my car and after I hit the guard rail, that time when I pressed the breaks, I was finally able to stop.   I am unsure what system malfunctioned.   There were no lights or warning messages. I did have the vehicle at Lexus for routine maintenance a couple weeks prior.   The sheriff came to the scene and filled report 23-31830. I also called Lexus the next day and filled a request for an inspection to be completed.
