It sounded like a gun shot. I drove it to the place I bought my Lexus, in March, called Sewell Lexus Dallas. They gave me a rental and said they would have their technicians look at it. They called me on Monday and said their technicians decide it wasn't a manufacture defect, but they couldn't tell  me of any evidence to why or what might have caused it. Furthermore, they suggested I report it to my insurance, and it would cost $4000.00 to replace.  This is dangerous, to have a sunroof explode on the highway, it could have caused an accident.
