However, the shift signal came up on the dashboard and the emergency brake light automatically came on, Once I pressed the brake it went off but none of the gear shift lights came on. Therefore, I was unable to drive or reverse the car it would not allow me to move forward or backward.  The emergency brake light kept coming on when I pressed the gas.
