It clogs very easily and forces rain into the battery area.  Other than that, it goes into the footwells and the comfort control module is beneath the drivers footwell.  Soaking in water destroyed it.  Now the windows don't go up or down.  The moonroof refuses to open or shut.  The car will not lock or unlock with the key.  The car has sat now for too long and will no longer even turn on.  The insurance company looked it all over and denied my claim.  The vehicle has pretty much been totalled.
