This engine issue affects the 2011 and newer Grand Caravans with the said engine. My sister has had to replace this part twice now (Every other year - She replaced the last one two years ago) in her Grand Caravan SE. The symptoms which leads us to know that this is the problem is the vehicle develops a really bad oil leak and the oil level ends up being a quart low. The same symptoms happened when the first part was replaced prior to the part that needs to be replaced now. My sister was informed that the part she put in last time is not a definite fix as the said part could malfunction and crack again. This is a defect of the design of this engine that needs to be recalled and replaced with the new part free of charge that is also an updated part that is different than older parts that will not break. This is a SAFETY HAZARD as my sister has two small children and they could wind up on the road or interstate broken down. RECALL or TSB (TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN) is needed from Chrysler.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2014","productMake":"DODGE","productModel":"GRAND CARAVAN","manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)"}]}]}
