In the Acknowledgement, Ford stated that the consequence of the engine failure is that \u201c[a]n engine compartment failure increases the risk of injury\u201d but that there is no current remedy for this serious hazard.  No remedy has become available since these issues first started arising prior to July 2022. -On June 8, 2023, after the recall and acknowledgement thereof, Crest Lincoln in Connecticut/Ford Motor Company sold me a vehicle that was the subject of the recall even though their own acknowledgement said \u201cit is illegal for a manufacturer, to sell, offer for sale, import or introduce or deliver into interstate commerce, a motor vehicle or item of motor vehicle equipment that contains a safety defect once the manufacturer has notified NHTSA about that safety defect.\u201d   SUMMARY: Crest Lincoln and Ford Motor Company illegally sold me a vehicle and put an illegal vehicle into the stream of commerce that had a very serious safety related recall.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2023","productMake":"LINCOLN","productModel":"CORSAIR PHEV","manufacturer":"Ford Motor Company"}]}]}
