In dark or dimly lit areas, the camera is totally dark and unusable.   Parking in a dark parking lot or area is not possible using the camera.  When I was trying to park between the parking lines in the rain in early morning I had to get out of the car to see if I was in the lines.   I have taken the car back to the dealer and they state that there are no issues with the camera system. Many owners on Volvo forums state similar issues.
