We were not. The vehicle lost all power while my wife was driving on a very busy Fla highway. She attempted to pull the car over to the shoulder. She was in the far-left lane. It had no shoulder. She was unable to make it completely over to the right shoulder due to having no power. Her car was still in part of the right traveling lane of traffic. This put her at great risk of being rear ended by vehicles going 70 mph and possibly killed. She was 60 miles from home, and I could not reach her intime, so a friend nearby helped. When I visited my chevy dealer and expressed my anger over what just happened they informed me that the same thing happened to another customer. Fuel pump failure. Chevy tells us that the fuel pump is on back order over 2 weeks. Chevy is aware of this very dangerous defect and has done nothing about it. Some maybe killed as a result. Losing power on a busy high going 70 mph is very dangerous. Information on the fuel pump failure for this vehicle can be found online.
