I took vehicle to Hayward Volkswagen on 04/04/2023 and was told heater core needs to be replaced.  This is a known problem  to Volkswagen; there's a warranty recall on the 2014 Passatt with the same heater core. I have found numerous complaints on line with the same Jetta heater complaint. The 2014 Jetta i own has approximately 88,000 miles, mechanically sound car which i am unable to drive in winter months.
