Sticky steering causes me to overcorrect, merging to other lane.   Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? An appointment is made for the dealer to check the vehicle on 01/20/2024  Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? NA  Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, No illuminated warning lamps nor codes or messages.   And when did they first appear? I noticed the issue started last November 2023 right around reaching 3500 miles.   Below are what I observed that changed: Sticky steering observed while- - Sitting idle - Driving straight line on freeway or speed 40mph + - Driving on curvy road - Backing up or parking   Other issues noticeable or changes in the car since I bought it: - Keep making micro adjustment on freeway speed - feels like power steering shuts off while on idle (auto stop disabled) - steering sometimes feel harder in any drive mode (sport, normal, and comfort - feels like there's a gap (lack of precise word) in steering   I made observations with vehicle safety features on and off.  An accident almost happened on 01/10/2024 while driving on curvy road. The steering momentarily felt sticky and hard causing left side of my car to go past the dividing lane.
