On the seat which is attached to the metal frame there is a plastic piece which holds the seat switch, which is held on by a plastic plug and a reusable plastic rivet. As you enter or exit the van and use the step your weight pushes the leather seat against the plastic which holds the seat switch and causes the attachments to fail causing you to fall.
