Car made a loud boom with immediate signs of problem. (No airbag deploy or warning signs showing on app or on dash)  Pulled over to find no issue with tires, body of car or rims of tire.  Upon raising hood, found passenger front strut had pushed through engine casing and was hitting top of hood.  Fortunately, I was not on a major highway as that could have led to something more serious.  (I realize hitting a hole can cause damage but this seems to be a design flaw and I am worried now every time I hit a bump it will trigger this.  I get tire/rim damage, but this is pretty significant.)  I have an insurance adjuster looking at it now, notified Genesis Corporation and spoke to the Dealer who claims it's an insurance claim.   In my research I have found a forum indicating this has happened to others and Genesis hasn't provided a recall or notified users of this as a safety concern.    The pictures and description are consistent across the drivers.  I just think this is something that needs to be researched before someone gets seriously hurt.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2022","productMake":"GENESIS","productModel":"GV70","manufacturer":"Hyundai Motor America"}]}]}
