I tried to clean with soap and water, and some other chemicals but nothing works. It is so sticky that when I tried to use rags to wipe off, my rag got stick to the surface. Specially in a hot summer day it almost seems like the surface is melting. Sometime I feel like, some of my medical issues may be related to this too. Because recently I stop driving this car for work  (which I usually do  a 1.25 hrs commute} and some of my issues reduced quite considerably. I talked to toyota and they told me that they did had a recall for this issue but Since during that time I just barely bought this vehile with   a small dealership, they never informed me and I never received any mail . But they said they send me in the mail. Now they said that recall duration is over and there is nothin they can do about it. So I am stuck with this sticky dashboard.
