However, the recall notification clearly indicates the possible dangerous situations that can result. And, it seems to me that the idea behind a recall is to remedy the problem and avoid the possibility of a harmful event happening on the road. I have spoken with a BMW dealer and no one has suggested that the car should be inspected to see if there nis a problem or not.. Also, there have been no warning lamps or other symptoms or messages yet. Safety for myself and the vehicle is put at risk by the very fact that this recall has been issued as of October 20, 2023.
