Check airbag light in dash remains lit. Took car to infiniti dealership to diagnose. They quoted $8000 repair price to replace entire seat frame. They claim the sensor is built into the seat frame and individual sensors can not be replaced. The quoted price is more than half the value of the car and is cost prohibitive to repair. I have read many posts where this is a common problem for this car. There was a recall for earlier car models with similar problem but this car is not covered. See Infiniti bulletin [XXX] . It is the same problem. I feel unsafe driving this car now but the repair cost is unreasonable and infiniti should not make the repair so expensive as it compromises the safety of the consumer.
