Then after about 5 seconds the car put itself into neutral  and started to slow down.   I pulled off to the side of the highway before it stopped on its own .  I was not able to start the car back up.  I got it towed to the dealership .  I am told that the AC compressor failure to the high voltage battery system , shut down the system .
