I received a letter dated June 2023 from GMC informing me of the recall.  On 3/6/24, I contacted GMC to inquire when I could expect to have my vehicle repaired.  No timeline could be provided.  I sent and email to NHTSA with my concern over the time lapse in the vehicle repair.  In an email from NHTSA, I was given a GMC phone number to call to get a timeline for the repair.  GMC is unable to provide me with a timeline.  I think I have waited long enough and have driven a dangerous vehicle too long.  Why can I not at least get some idea of how much longer I will have to wait.  I understand that I can receive serious injury or even die from this problem.
