I bought the car used 3 years ago and have kept up the maintenance on the vehicle. About 6 months ago, I was driving home and the vehicle wouldn't accelerate above 20 mph. I kept cutting it on and off and trying to let it sit for a bit then trying to drive again. It wouldn't go above 20 mph. I had it checked out by a mechanic and was told I need a whole new transmission. He said that most of these transmissions don't get more than 120,000 before they go out. I then googled this issue to find so many complaints and Nissan is doing nothing about it. I even called Nissan to speak to someone about it and they acknowledged that they are aware of the transmission issues with this model but there isn't a recall so it will be up to me to pay for the repair. This is obsurd!!!! A company has put a faulty transmission in a vehicle and they are fully aware but do nothing to help their customers.
