I removed the climate control panel from my car and found metal parts of the knob to be black and burnt and plastic parts to be melted and disformed causing the part to malfunction. All that\u2019s needs to be replaced to fix the problem is the knob itself on the climate control panel. However, the knob is not sold individually and you must buy the whole climate control panel which costs over $200.
