The first instance (cylinder 2) occurred at approximately 7,000 miles. The car experienced a sudden loss of power, followed by misfires and smoke from the tailpipe and the check engine light coming on during failure. The second instance (cylinder 1) occurred at approximately 19,000 miles. The car experienced a sudden loss of power, followed by misfires and smoke from the tailpipe and the check engine light coming on during failure. Both instances were repaired by the dealership under warranty. However this was a safety risk due to the immediate loss of power in the car and the inability to accelerate.  Instances of fuel injector failures have been wide spread among owners of the Hyundai Veloster N and Hyundai Elantra N with 2.0T engines. There were no warning that the car would fail, prior to the actual failure. This is an important safety concern due to immediate loss of power while driving.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2022","productMake":"HYUNDAI","productModel":"VELOSTER N","manufacturer":"Hyundai Motor America"}]}]}
