Dealership verified this. They say to repair will be $8000 to replace whole seat. This is a common problem with hundreds of complaints mentioned on online forums.  There was a recall for this issue on prior year Infiniti models but that recall doesn\u2019t include newer than 2016. Infiniti refuses to replace under warranty. (They replaced the driver seatbelt retractor assembly under warranty, but won\u2019t repair the airbag issue).
