This happened at least 3 times since I\u2019ve owned this vehicle. I was making a left hand turn crossing traffic and the vehicle would not go with oncoming cross traffic. This last time was a close call and my son was in the front passenger seat. Problem can not be reproduced on demand. It randomly happens and throws no codes or check engine light. The vehicle has only been inspected by the dealership and independent shop. No warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms prior to or after failure.  After a few seconds of unresponsiveness the transmission will begin to work correctly again.
