The most incident was when braking for a stop sign. I took my foot off the accelerator and depressed the brake pedal. The engine speed increased and I had to step harder on the brake. Briefly a message appeared warning the brake and accelerator pedals were both depressed. I looked down and I could see nothing was touching the accelerator peddle. My foot was clearly only on the brake.  This has also happened when trying to park, though I did not look at the gas pedal those times. Instead I shifted to neutral an turned of the engine.  I have reported this to the dealer several times with no resolution.  With the latest report the service manager was \"not available\" and has not returned phone calls. They claim to have never heard of the problem.  By the way, there are no extra mats in the car.
