Taken to dealership 9/2/2023 and was told the wiring harness needed replacement. Left the truck there for 2.5 months with no repair so we brought the truck home in December 2023 and asked them to call us when they got the part. Had a rainstorm the following day and the truck tried to start itself, wipers running, lights flashing, and smell of something burning. Disconnected the battery and had truck towed to Beach Chevrolet Dealership. Damage was worse than they originally thought and we still needed a new wiring harness. That particular wiring harness has been discontinued by GM and they are unable to find the part anywhere. The truck is still at the dealership and it will be 8 months on May 2, 2024. State Farm refuses to total the truck and we have no idea when our vehicle will be repaired. Have contacted GM customer Disservice repeatedly with no resolution in site.
