Oil light came on, noticed it without any loss of power.  Within the next mile the cars rpms started to increase very quickly with little pressure being applied to accelerator and power loss started to begin. As I tried to get over and get to the next exit the car completely shut off in the middle of the road with little to no warning or time to react.  Very dangerous. Thankfully was still able to steer and brake. I called help and had the state trooper blocking me on the road until the tow truck arrived.
