The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed that the charcoal canister and a filter needed to be replaced. The contact stated that the dealer confirmed an unknown recall was not related to the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure; however, the contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance.
