Found the backup camera safety component display to have a poor-quality, low resolution, distorted image. Guidelines are not sharp and objects in the backup path are obscured and practically invisible.  In the evening the view is so bad the camera is practically useless...even without bad weather.  Especially at night, this can be a hinderance rather than an aid to safety. I took the vehicle in for service at the dealer in January and again in May. I was told there was no fault with the camera or display. Another same model vehicle was shown to me, but it was in the daytime and although the image was also of poor quality, they said this was normal. I was also shown a Rogue and there was an absolutely perfect image. They admitted something was different but still said the image on my car had NO FAULT. They could not do anything not even trying another camera. They said I needed to contact NISSAN. This poor-quality image was also present on the front and side cameras. My previous car was a 2019 Altima Platinum which had great camera clarity as it should be. I am beginning to believe the manufacturer received defective cameras or chose to use a lower cost camera in their vehicles. I paid a premium price for a high-tech vehicle with many safety features but received a poor-quality unsafe feature that should not be ignored.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2024","productMake":"NISSAN","productModel":"ALTIMA","manufacturer":"Nissan North America, Inc."}]}]}
