Honda is aware of this defect as per complaints, posts, blogs etc.  Honda should disclosed this known defect to potential buyers prior to closing any sale, as it is a costly defect/hazard and requires abnormal parking criteria without guarantee of prevention. A reasonable person does not expect for exterior parts of their auto (an item meant for the outdoors) to melt in sunlight.  A reasonable person does not expect to be restricted as to where to park a vehicle to avoid it melting.   Had I been informed of the inferior quality of materials used in the manufacturing of this vehicle I would have purchased something else.  This is outrageous and unacceptable.
