There was some plastic pieces that came out when the headrest popped, it stayed connected. but headrest stayed (open) for the lack of a better term. about 2 to 2.5 inches. makes driving of the car really uncomfortable. had to strap the headrest back to the hard plastic, so that I don't have the headrest pushing my head forward. and I don't have to drive with my back away the back rest of the seat.
