There is a recall for the 2012-2014 Camrys for a transmission shudder that could occur while accelerating, especially under light loads between 25-50 mph. The issue is caused by a combination of a faulty torque converter and a software glitch in the engine control module (ECM). The original owner did not have it fixed. Thus, the problem still exists. This is a safety hazard and I contacted Toyota North America who told me that they can't do anything. However, to fix the problem that Toyota issued the recall themselves, Toyota dealers need to replace to the torque converter and update the ECM software. I am reaching out to the NHTSA because this is a safety hazard and I hope you are able to help me with this. Thank you.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2014","productMake":"TOYOTA","productModel":"CAMRY","manufacturer":"Toyota Motor Corporation"}]}]}
