Clear safety issue that has been documented by numerous other owners of the Genesis G80, and a known issue by Hyundai Motors / Genesis, as they will replace the Rack Mounted Motor-Driven Power Steering Assembly under the manufacturer's warranty. My vehicle is a few months out of warranty, with estimated repair cost of approximately $5k. For all owners of a 2018 Genesis G80, the warranty should be extended to cover this defective part, or a safety recall instituted.
