The engine will shut down but the key stays on the accessories position eventually causing the battery to go dead. It doesn't do it all the time, but it at some point in time it will become permanent.  I consider this a very serious safety issue as I cannot lock the vehicle therefore it can be very easily stolen. Since I cannot lock it, a child could get in the vehicle and start it up and who knows what would happen after that. I also owned another GM vehicle with the same issue the key could not be removed from the ignition switch. Because an injury was involved a GM Rep came to check it out. After working several hours, he told us he could not find anything wrong with the ignition. It seems funny we never had an issue with it after he had checked it out. Lawsuit averted! I firmly believe this is a serious safety issue must be investigated!!","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2019","productMake":"CHEVROLET","productModel":"COLORADO","manufacturer":"General Motors, LLC"}]}]}
