When we went to get back on the highway, I put the truck in gear and nothing happened. Truck would only shift into reverse with a violent bang. Would not go forward. Unhooked my trailer and shifted into REVERSE a few times and finally got the truck to inch forward at HIGH RPM. Towed to a Ram dealer and they confirmed a snap ring failure caused the forward clutches to go out.
