I can feel the change in the steering wheel, followed immediately by the warning message on the screen above the wheel reading \"Stabilitrak Failure\" and 4 loud chimes from the speakers. This first happened in June of 2022. When I turned the truck off and on again, the same warning appeared on the screen but power steering was restored. This didn't happen again until earlier this year (Feb 2024). This issue happened a few times at low speed, during which it was extremely difficult to steer. I narrowly avoided an accident both times due to quick breaking. I learned about recall bulletin 15595A which describes this issue for my make, model and year. I contacted GE about this issue but they pushed back continuously referencing the fact that my VIN was not part of the recall. They eventually agreed to inspect my truck to determine if my issue is the same as the recall, but only if I paid $250 for a diagnostic. I went to the dealership today and the manager told me everything would be out of pocket, including any repairs. He was not willing to note my case # 9-12939029688 and explicitly stated \"this won't be covered no matter what\". I left without performing the diagnostic so as not to waste time and money, as it was clear GM had not been communicating with the dealer as they promised during our phone calls. Currently my power steering fails almost every time I drive, typically within 20 minutes of starting up.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2015","productMake":"GMC","productModel":"CANYON","manufacturer":"General Motors, LLC"}]}]}
