I opened the moonroof and found that the sunroof had exploded and shattered.  We were on the northbound lanes with no traffic, other than 1 pickup truck in front of us by approximately 200 yards.There was no evidence of debris hitting it.  Temperature was in the low 80\u2019s at approximately 5:30 pm.  I have no explanation for the sunroof exploding.
