This transmission failure is a known issue and has a TSB 21-002-23.  A k1 clutch clip becomes dislodged and the transmission will not function.  Being stranded and unable to move on a busy highway is unsafe and terrifying. Aisin Transmission and RAM are well aware of this failure however I was never notified about the potential failure nor has a recall been issued.  The failure occurred instantly with no warning in a vehicle with 16,000 miles and less than 2 years old. My vehicle has been repaired and the failure was confirmed as  the K1 clutch clip failure.  There should be an immediate recall for this known failure to be repaired prior to being stranded on the side of the highway, 400 miles from home with my wife and kids.
