A warning comes on that states \"shift to park\" when the car is already in park.  I have contacted Chevrolet twice and was notified that their are no open recalls on this.  This is a very common and known problem with 2016-2019 Chevy malibu as well as Chevy Cruze model.  Chevrolet is no help in this matter.  I feel this is a large safety issue as you cannot turn the car off.
