I was traveling at approx 55 mph with my daughter in the car and the power steering quit. Alert lights came on the dash.  I managed to slow down and turn off the highway. I turned the truck off and when I turned it back on it was fine. Drove for another 10 minutes to get home and it went out again at a stop light. I found a place to pull over and turned it off and back on and it stopped doing it again.  There is a recall for this issue on this vehicle but evidently mine was not on the recall or was fixed prior to me owning it.  I have not checked with the dealership, but I\u2019m assuming it will be a large bill to get it taken care of.
