I just found out today that the manufacturer defect cannot even be fixed! I have been waiting a whole year for the part to come in just to be told today that there is NO remedy or fix for this recall. I was told that my airbag inflator in my 2017 Chevy Traverse can explode, even without a crash, due to a manufacturing defect!! Now I am scared to drive my own car with this recall! I do not want to risk putting my family in danger!
