This disables the vehicle and to restart you must turn the gearselecter knob to Park, put your foot on the brake and push the start button. Sometimes the engine requires multiple attempts to restart. The instrument display after the stall shows the check engine light illuminated along with the warning lights for the front and rear parking sensors , the stability control, and automatic emergency braking. These warning lights remain illuminated at least until you turn the truck off. The check engine light remains on usually until the next day.
