The inside emergency release also will not work when the cable is broken. The vehicle can not be refueled until extensive disassembly has been performed and the cable replaced. This can take several days and much expense. The safety concern happens when the driver is far from home or in an undesirable location and runs out of fuel. This cable problem has occurred on a less than 3 yr old vehicle with less than 36,000 miles. Way too soon for a critical part to break down. The Honda dealership indicated that this has occurred before. This should be addressed as a safety hazard with a recall and inspection and an extended warranty for the repair.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2022","productMake":"HONDA","productModel":"PASSPORT","manufacturer":"Honda (American Honda Motor Co.)"}]}]}
