I contacted Honda but was informed the extended warranty expired as of January 2024. The paint began peeling around July 2024. Honda also stated the extended warranty was valid from the time of purchase. However, I am not sure if this is for the initial purchase (1st owner) or when I purchase it (May 2019). If this is for the initial purchase then the extended warranty offered was negotiated fairly when it involves 2nd, 3rd owners who are now experiencing this issue. I should not have to pay for something that is clearly a manufacturer issue (peeling paint). When I drive at times the paint peelings further in the wind then blows off towards the vehicle behind me. I kindly asked this be addressed at Honda expense since they decided to use a cheaper paint on these vehicles. They need to be held accountable.
