A tire repair kit is provided.  I had a flat tire resulting from sidewall damage.  The repair kit is ineffective for this type of tire failure.  This required towing the vehicle to a tire shop for replacement.  If this had happened in a rural setting, at night, or on a weekend the vehicle's occupants would have been put in danger.  I was not informed of this feature at the time of sale of the vehicle.  This information would have influenced my decision to purchase the vehicle.
