If I need to use my brakes to disengage cruise control when traffic slows and then use the \u201cresume\u201d feature on the C.C. my vehicle continues to accelerate until I shut the cruise off and reset it. If I am resuming to say 65 MPH I can reach 85 MPH in a couple seconds.  This happens more than 50 % of the times I use my C.C.
