It doesn't release for 3 seconds after foot brake is not applied. Once it stalls the car and your panicked. Then you apply foot brake to restart the car you get to wait another 3 seconds or you stall again. It is inconsistent in pressure applied and dangerous. I have been driving manual transmission vehicles for near 40 years. Perhaps if I lived in San Francisco it might be of use but, with this activating at the slightest grade it is dangerous!
